Default Read a Book Twice

Are there many books that you like so much that you read them twice?

I got a bad string of bad books or something and decided to go back and read ones that I love.

I could just read Agatha Christie and Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe for the rest of my life.

I've read every one of my Stephen King's books at least twice.......most of them 3 or 4 times and every time, I've found something I've missed before. It's like revisiting an old familiar vacation spot or friend

I've probably read " The Little Prince " a dozen times if not more. Some think this is a children's book. It is so much more than a children's book! " The Little Prince " has been translated into over 100 languages. Only the Bible and the Koran have more translations. Pretty impressive for a " children's book " no?

Now that I am in my 40's I feel like Henry Fonda in On Golden Pond where he says he can read his favorite book because he can't remember it. LOL.

Kerouac. William Least Heat-Moon. When I was a kid I read an Erma Bombeck paperback until it literally fell apart. Aunt Erma was the funniest woman alive back then--and may still be.

I am reading the Millenium Series by Stieg Larsson -- The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest. As soon as I finish the last one I am starting over. Great books!

I keep thinking I want to read them, they sound good. They have a book club at the college I work at and they were reading one of those.
